PLOT AND SETTING
in the fictional town of ravenwood lies one of the world's most renowned mental institutions. it is thought by many to be the perfect place to send wayward citizens who have been charged with insanity. to the outsiders, it is seen as one of the most successful institutions; but, in reality, it is a prison for society's unwanted. there are rumors that once you enter, you never leave — at least, not alive. patients mysteriously disappear in the night, never to be seen again. some say they were discharged, but others have more ominous theories. while most have succumbed to their dark sentence, there are whispers of rebellion amongst some of the patients. they long for their stolen freedom, to live among the normal.
THINGS TO KNOW

• if you get caught doing something you're not supposed to, the most probable punishment will be solitary confinement.
• no, you don't have to play someone who resides in the asylum. if you choose to create an outsider, however, keep in mind they will not be allowed inside the institution, and this will limit your chance for threads.
• it is not permitted that anyone leaves the institution unsupervised. you can, however, attempt to sneak out when no one's looking. just don't get caught.
• yes, you may have visitors. the visiting hours vary for different patient rankings. low-risk patients have the visiting hours of 9am-4pm. medium-risk patients have visiting hours of 10am-3pm. high-risk patients have the visiting hours of 11am-2pm. visitors are only allowed to socialize with one patient at a time and it must be within the visiting center.
