Tobias quirked a brow. "I don't give a damn who I talk to. You're all the same," he muttered. "But, just between you and me, I think my shrink would be delighted to get me off his hands for a day." Some of the workers here had labeled him hopeless, as they did with a great majority of the high risk patients. While even Tobias believed that to be true, having someone give up on you never sat well. Not that he expected this female to be any different. No matter who he was put with, he saw himself at the top of the totem pole. Had any of these adults ever been mercilessly bullied? Had they held a gun to their head? He doubted it. Therefore, he didn't see how they could 'fix' him.
"You want me to ask the questions?" he echoed in amusement. "Alright, lady." Tobias clicked his tongue softly, eying the female who sat across from him thoughtfully. He started with a classic question. "Why the hell here?" He always wanted to know why anyone would choose a hellhole like this, especially since half of them looked like they'd be better suited to a pediatric department, not an institution full of psychopaths. "They're gonna lock you up like the rest of us." His eyes glinted slyly, and he figured that, as Violet's first patient, it was his job to introduce her to the the asylum's rather ominous rumors.

Violet shuffled through his file once more before putting it perfectly back the way it was. She listened as Toby said he didn't care who he saw as she unlocked one of the file cabinets and placed his inside. After his comment about his old psychiatrist, she shut the cabinet and locked it back. "Well then, I'll take you off his hands." She shot him a grin. Violet liked the tough cases, she liked tough cases and people with sleep disorders. They were the only ones to really interest her, the others she took care of because she was paid to do so.
She wasn't the most conventional psychiatrists, she gave herself that. Why here? That really was a good question, and one Violet wasn't very sure she could answer. She thought about when she chose to transfer. "I used to work in a psych ward at a hospital." She began thoughtfully, trying to think it through. "The pay was higher here, and my brother was put into the ward where I worked. It got too personal for me, I like to stay detached." She replied, giving him the best answer she could. Violet didn't have a very concrete reason for coming to Ravenwood, she just did.
At his comment about locking her up, she gave him a questioning look. "Everyone is a little crazy."
